Philip Rice was born and raised in the Northern Sacramento Valley. Having grown up around those natural landscapes he established his designs. The abstract beauty of natural refuges, contrasting with the clean, strong lines of agricultural tapestry, stimulates his creativity.

With more than a decade in the floral industry, he has emerged as a leader of floral excellence in California. In 2008 - 2009 he was awarded the honor of the top floral designer in the state. Recently, he shared his talents with the Governor and many state Legislators of California. For the last two years, Philip shared his floral design abilities with Fiesta Parade Floats, which took first place-- the Sweepstakes Trophy -- in the Tournament of Roses Parade both years.

As the former vice president of the Northern California/Nevada Teleflora educational unit, Philip has an appreciation and dedication toward industry involvement. Currently, Philip sits on the Board of Directors for the California State Floral Association and has recently been appointed as an advisor for the California Certified Florist Program.

Philip is very pleased to have the opportunity to share his talents in the Greater Sacramento area! As the owner of East Sac Florist, he is now able to provide a wide range of services that can extend far beyond the walls of his shop.
